Believe To Recover

In 1979 the World Health Organization (WHO = World Health Organization) published a list of diseases that can be treated with acupressure. It shows that acupressure is no longer viewed as just a healing practice that the result is still considered to be completely accidental, but has been accepted as a medical practice in modern medicine.
A large number of other types of alternative healing is still outside the circle. However, most people still use it because they believe and feel the benefits. For them not matter really whether they are following the way of healing that is acknowledged or not a medical act.
Not only in developing countries an alternative healing phenomenon is growing fast. In many European countries are well-known healers. The Economist magazine reported that a hospital in Vancouver, Canada, providing alternative healing services with authorized capital of 4.5 million U.S. dollars.
In the United States, places the patient invaded alternative healing practices. According to Time magazine, the funds for the healing that they spend could reach 30 billion U.S. dollars. A number of companies in the United States does have incorporated alternative healing in health risks. Largest insurance company in New York, Oxford Health Plans, such as Fortune magazine written, enter the list of treatment of nerve, and various natural healing nature.
Not surprising that enthusiasts of alternative healing is a big enough market for alternative health books.
Interest in massage, for example, crammed with books, Tsubo: Massage Therapy by Dr. Point Press. Katsusuke Serizawa. Not to mention a number of books on style massage * Chinese *, Japanese or reflexology treatment. Appears also a number of book series of healing, including the Healing with Crystals, by Jacquie Burgess. The author shows that the energies of crystals can be used to heal and revive the vitality of the body, mind and soul. Included in this series by ayurvedic healing, homeopathy, meditation, reflexology, and color. In this sequence may be added a book about Reiki healing and Kundalini.
Supply is also a variety of healing with prayer books. One of them called Healing Words written by Larry Dossey, MD. The work of Dr. Herbert Benson titled Timeless Healing refers to the idea that humans are basically designed to "believe". Some of the best-selling books this is the work of leading doctors. Besides Benson and Larry Dossey, call them like Deepak Chopra and Andrew Weil. They offer guidance between modern medicine and spiritual power from the East.
The element of "trust" is considered its own process of healing can work. Not only certain circles which traditionally is a user who is supportive, but also those who are educated in the strict modern education, and among them there's always the modern health-care providers themselves.
Basic ground is that the mind has the ability to regulate body physiology. In his writings, citing a research article about the benefits of prayer (Kompas, April 14, 1998), Professor. Dr. H. Azwar Agoes, DSFK said, "spiritual healing can help treat. Much evidence suggests that prayer can work. "
Similar Trust works to accept the world of traditional healing, such as the use of herbs, massage, and various herb "magic" other. Say for example wounds treated with cud bread mix cobwebs are generally considered dirty by the dust, or just chew the leaves petai * Chinese *. A healer from Solo, for example, reveal that the element of trust is an important factor in the healing process. Make patients more confidence to concentrate and make them more relaxed so that no element of denial.
Scientists began to tick. They have become more conscientious observe how the spiritual aspect can influence or work in patients. They were fascinated when he found a number of relevant data "buried" in the wild health literature.
Time magazine reported, Lewin and his colleagues from Eastern Virginia David Larson, a psychiatrist who originally worked in the United States National Institutes of Health, found more than 200 studies on the role of such trust. Most studies revealed that religion was good for healthy living.
One of the study, conducted over 30 years, said that a devout religious believer, lower blood pressure five millimeters compared to those who do not. Another study conducted in 1996 showed that elderly people are devout life more calm and physically healthier.
