Tips on choosing a good and safe helmet

Do not just choose a helmet because of design or form of the charming, but must be considered in terms of quality so that can protect the head from the collision. Here are tips on choosing a good helmet and safety,
1. A good helmet is a helmet that covers the full head (full face), or at least only open jaw section (open face). Full-face type provides better protection from wind, dust, water, stones, and insects. This type also provide better protection to the jaw and teeth.
2. Part in a mandatory helmet thick (inside the shell or liner). This thick section serves to reduce conflict and friction, when the helmet contact with immovable objects. The aim is to protect your spine from crack skull. The materials are usually used in this layer is polysyrene or styrofoam.
3. Must have the inner lining of soft fabric to place the head in a fit and proper in the cavity of the helmet. Selection of fabric that is soft and absorbs sweat also makes the helmet still comfortable to use for a relatively long time.
4. Must have a tough outer layer (the hard outer shell). The outer layer of the helmet should be designed to be broken if you have a conflict, so that the impact pressure until you reach the head can be reduced. This section is usually made of polycarbonate material.
5. Please note before buying a good helmet that is, the helmet must be equipped with chain strap . Functioning straps hold the helmet remain in position to protect the head when the biker falls.
