Lazarus Syndrome


This phenomenon arose from the dead is a very rare event. This phenomenon that emerged and caused a furor in Penang Malaysia.
A 65-year-old man reported to rise from the dead just two and a half hours after being declared dead by a team of doctors at the hospital. This rare phenomenon, which in medical terms is called the Lazarus Syndrome, a warm conversation residents in the city center which is located in the northwest of the neighbor country.
The story begins when an elderly man who was not named, had died suddenly after an argument with his parents outside the home. This man suffered injuries to his hand and was unconscious shortly after being taken into the house.
One son named Wei and bring him to the hospital Seberang Jaya at around 11:00 pm after knowing that his condition was not breathing. The family was then made preparations and set up tents at the funeral home, located in Jalan Tok Elong, Clay, Bukit Mertajam it.
When the wife and son make a report of deaths in Central Seberang Prai police station, it was shocking news to come. Doctors from the hospital stating that this old man did not die alias back to life.
Wei explained that the team doctor could perform resuscitation to his father when he got in the hospital. "The doctors perform CPR (cardiac pulmonary resuscitation) and announced that he died an hour later. We then went to the police station and later received a call from the doctor at 1:30 o'clock," he said.
Hearing the news, Wei then returned to the hospital and saw his father was transferred to special care of heart or CCU (Cardiac Care Unit).
A spokesman for the hospital said that doctors had to do CPR for almost an hour to Wei's father, but showed no significant response.
"The team doctor announced that this man died after waiting nearly two hours. We continue to monitor the condition was and realized that he suddenly began to breathe after about two and a half hours. We then gave him breathing aids," explained the spokesman.
He explains Lazarus syndrome is a rare case. This syndrome refers to the return of the circulation of a sudden at the time to perform resuscitation efforts failed. This syndrome takes its name from the Gospel story of Lazarus being raised from death by Jesus.
According to a report quoted by The Telegraph newspaper from the internet, so far in the world there are only 38 cases recorded Lazarus syndrome until June 2009. Source: TheStar.com
