Eggs is one of the food source of protein is easily digested and can be processed into a wide variety of food.
There are some things you need to know, for eggs that are consumed is safe and protected from bacterial contamination.
Selecting and storing
- Currently on the market available eggs that have been pasteurized. This means the egg is heated in high temperature quickly so that the salmonella bacteria that may contaminate been removed. If you're concerned about bacterial contamination, you can choose this kind of egg.

- U.S. Department of Agriculture said the best way to store eggs in the refrigerator is in an egg carton or pack. Store in the coldest part of your refrigerator and this means not at the door. The best temperature for storage is below five degrees celcius.

Processing mode
- Fresh eggs might contain Salmonella enteritidis bacteria. This bacterium is dangerous for children and pregnant women. Therefore, make sure the eggs are consumed is thoroughly cooked.
- Immediately egg consumption while warm. Eggs that have been left too long may lose some nutrients.
